Hello everyone! It often happens that you set up the network once, entered the Wi-Fi password on your devices and safely forgot it. But what if you bought a new smartphone, forgot the Wi-Fi password, want to go into the router and see, but you also forgot it? Everything is easier than it sounds.
First of all, I'm talking about situations when you changed the standard Wi-Fi password and the password from your personal account in the router. Many do not do this and they will never have such a situation, which is mentioned in the article.
But again, I advise everyone to always set a completely different password for both Wi-Fi and the router. In another article I will tell you why this should be done on the example of one unpleasant incident that happened to my friend.
But now it's not about that, but about how to connect to Wi-Fi without a password.
How to connect
A method suitable for those who have a modern router with WPS function. By default, this feature is enabled on all routers, so there shouldn't be any problems.
In most cases, this feature is combined with a Reset button, which either reboots the router or resets the settings to factory defaults.
If your router has this function, then you will see the WPS inscription next to the reboot button.
So that's it. In order to connect Wi-Fi without a password, press this button on the router for one second and find the WPS connection function in the phone's Wi-Fi settings. It will look something like this:
Even the smartphone itself has a hint on how to do it all.
If you do everything right, then in a couple of seconds your phone will connect to Wi-Fi without a password.
