Hello friends! Not everyone has powerful computers that pull any Windows functionality without sacrificing performance. But a lot can be turned off, especially background apps.
Applications in the background, albeit slightly, but still load the system, the Internet and, in general, the entire computer. This is especially noticeable when a couple of dozen of them work at the same time, and your old laptop was released back in 2012. But even with a powerful computer, I advise you to disable applications running in the background. How did I do it.
How to do it?
This is done very simply in the standard settings.
- Press "WIN + I" to open the computer settings.
- Go to the "Privacy" section and select the "Background Applications" item.
- We click on the switch of the item “Allow applications to run in the background” to prohibit this for absolutely all applications. You can also leave the ones you really need and disable the ones you don't need.
I advise absolutely everyone to do this, since I did not notice any real benefit in their work. Even Microsoft itself writes that shutdowns will help reduce power consumption (i.e. the load on the system). This is especially true for laptops.
