Both methods are a perfect solution to the problem of cold floors, however require considerable investments. Creating a warm deck will cost a bit more expensive, but the heat buckle is considered more durable solution. In any case, you decide.
Warming of the floor using a raised floor
Such a method of warming the floor is considered to be the most effective, but expensive. For this option, you do not need to take any preparatory work. The flooring can often be immediately carried out on the old foundation. The only nuance - it is a question of protection coating against moisture from the ground.
Therefore, before laying the insulation solve the issue with the foundation waterproofing. Here there are two options. First, the use of ready waterproofing solutions and mixtures. Second, cover the base overlap with cellophane on the wall adjacent to it. Both methods allow to achieve effective protection of the coating from the water, but if the financial balance is limited, it is better to use cellophane tape.
Further, depending on the type of insulation, install joists or beacons. If you are going to do a dry floor screed, it must be done beacons, and wood flooring installation requires lags.
The main objective of these elements - the creation of a smooth base for the future of flooring insulation. Setting the lag should be carried out every two feet, otherwise the floor will sag. As for beacons, the optimal distance between them - about two and a half meters.
As the heater itself can serve various types of mineral and basalt wools or expanded clay (except basalt). Should forget about the use of foam as insulation, since it completely reduces ventilation underground air, which can cause high humidity and, thereby, the occurrence of fungi and mold. Mineral wool is perfectly breathable and is ideal as a heater. It is in any form (boards or rolls) is placed in the free space between joists.
Pressed against a heater is not recommended. The air gap, which is between the insulation and the coating is warm and the gasket. It is therefore necessary to accurately produce estimates lag height.

When stacking is completed, flooring firmly bonded to each other by means of screws. The flooring is ready and now it is possible to cover any decorative coatings at your discretion.
Warming of the floor with warm ties
By itself, the floor screed is not correct the situation with the cold floor. All the matter in electric or water heating systems. Reliability and durability of this type of floor is difficult to overestimate.
Before laying the screed will get rid of the old coating to the base plate itself, since the new screed greatly surpass previous thickness and will consist of several layers.
After removal of the old coating proceed to laying of the layers. The first layer consists of a foam density of at least 25 mm and at least five centimeters thick. On one side of the base insulation process is ready and can be coated with screed decorative floor coverings. And it is possible to continue the insulation by embedding a system of electric or water heating. Laminate, linoleum and other coatings well interact with membrane electrical and infrared floors. The main nuance of their use is to comply with temperature norms.
Another option - a laying of the heating cable, which is covered by an additional tie layer. In this case, fit self-leveling screed, which is able to withstand high temperatures. This variant of insulation does not restrict your choice of flooring.
